We are seeking a Senior Commercial Strategist to join our team in Auckland. Our client is a top-tier civil engineering contractor known for delivering complex infrastructure projects across New Zealand.

Job Description:
The Senior Commercial Strategist will be responsible for driving commercial strategy to support business growth and project profitability. This includes identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities, setting and monitoring financial goals and forecasts, and building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and key partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business growth and project profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across infrastructure projects.
  • Set and monitor financial goals, forecasts, and sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and key partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure favourable commercial terms.


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need 10+ years' experience in civil construction with strong commercial leadership. You should also have a background in Quantity Surveying and cost management, as well as deep knowledge of contract administration and commercial best practices.
