Registered Dietitian Opportunity in Young

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide quality nutrition services to patients across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

About Your Role:

  • As a Registered Dietitian, you will contribute to the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of illness by optimising the nutrition of populations, communities and individuals.
  • You will provide a comprehensive range of nutrition services, including inpatients, outpatients, ambulatory care and community programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality nutrition services to patients/clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Conduct nutrition assessments, consultations and education sessions for patients and families.
  4. Develop and implement nutrition programs and policies that promote healthy eating and disease prevention.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Nutrition or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in dietetics or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dietitian.
  • Experience working in a hospital or community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
