About This Role

This Insurance Broker position involves preparing quotes, proposals and policy documentation according to internal processes. It also includes partnering with stakeholders on stewardship reports preparation and data collection.

As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for enhancing client experience through outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients by collaborating with internal and external partners when required.

Actioning client queries, renewals, policy changes and coverage advice is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will provide high standards of service and professional advice throughout sales, client onboarding and full policy lifecycle. They will stay up-to-date with industry, product and legislative developments to ensure expert advice can be provided to clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive quotes, proposals and policy documentation in line with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with partners to prepare and deliver stewardship reports, incorporating relevant data and insights.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Streamline new client onboarding by working closely with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Effectively manage client queries, policy renewals and changes, providing expert advice and support.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, products and regulatory requirements to offer informed guidance to clients.
Key Requirements
  • Tier 1 accreditation demonstrating expertise in insurance broking.
  • A broad understanding of insurance products, including financial lines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
