Senior Insurance Advisor

The Risk Adviser, Priority Life role entails providing expert advice and insights to support clients and services while identifying opportunities and risks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain strong relationships with referrers and conduct meetings with prospects.
- Attend medical conferences as required to source new leads.
- Local and interstate travel as required.
- Review existing insurance policies.
- Serve existing client needs; contact clients to maintain strong relationships and review if their insurance portfolio is still appropriate for their circumstances.
- Prepare all advice documentation.
- Oversee insurance applications/underwriting/new business follow up.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in risk management as a Risk Adviser.
- Extensive knowledge of personal risk insurance including Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection, and Business Expense cover.
- Proficiency in Xplan (including Risk Researcher) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a passion and pride in delivering successful outcomes.
