Job Overview:
Charger Logistics, a premier asset-based carrier, excels in delivering your assets efficiently and cost-effectively. Our extensive fleet is equipped to manage a variety of freight, including dedicated shipments, specialized transport, temperature-sensitive goods, and hazardous materials.
We are in search of a Sales Executive to enhance our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the President and Director of Sales to formulate territory and account strategies aimed at fostering sales growth in the Mexico region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing strong relationships with current business accounts.
- Approach complex challenges with well-considered solutions, build a prospect list, and engage in cold calling, while also valuing the importance of networking.
- Manage financial resources effectively, including monitoring budgets related to projects and providing insights for financial decisions impacting your specific initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning the business and contributing to the company's long-term growth by investing time in building and maintaining relationships to secure new accounts.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in new business development, including cold calling, appointment setting, presentations, and closing deals.
- 8+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation sector is highly preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales involving complex transactions.
- Strong understanding of the sales planning process.
- Ability to engage with all levels of customer personnel, from entry-level to senior executives.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relations abilities.
- Proven negotiation skills with a successful track record in closing deals.
- High energy and a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- A degree in marketing or a business-related field is advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
