About the Role
- You will provide personalized care and support based on individual needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, community access, and general day-to-day activities.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients to foster trust and communication.
- Promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Completed qualification of minimum Certificate III Disability or Individual Support (Ageing and Disability).
- Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable car.
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to get one.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience in working with individuals with disabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smartphones, email, and internet.
