Electrical Foreman - Africa Opportunity

Job Summary:

This position is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and mentor electrical teams in Africa.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coach and develop team members.

  • Skillful in implementing safety systems and ensuring compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations.
  • Able to review working areas of sites to guarantee adherence to policies, procedures, work instructions, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective visual leadership interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support site leaders in executing AUMS safety systems and initiatives.
  • Review site working areas to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead by example through positive visual leadership interactions.
  • Mentor and support electrical teams with planning and development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years as an Underground electrician.
  • Minimum 5 years as an Underground electrical supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of WHS requirements and Australian standards relevant to underground mining electrical systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
