Proactive Cyber Threat Management Expert

This role requires a seasoned professional to lead Toll's offensive security efforts, proactively detecting and preventing cyber threats through red and purple team operations. The successful candidate will align strategies with evolving threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and identify opportunities to enhance security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive assessments of SOC/blue team effectiveness, including scoping, risk management, execution, reporting, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define exercise scope and develop tailored reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance Security Operations team capabilities, driving team growth and maturity.
  • Oversight the planning and execution of advanced security assessments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and risk posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline.
  • Active security certifications, highlighting a commitment to continuous learning and industry standards.

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced risk and framework knowledge, including expertise in cyber risk management and familiarity with ISO 27000 series and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks.
  • Technical proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python, with hands-on experience using security tools such as CrowdStrike and Splunk.
  • Proven people management skills and ability to train junior staff to elevate their offensive security skills.
