As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of services.

Operations Supervisor

This role is ideal for someone with a background in waste management or a related field who has previous experience in a supervisory capacity. You will be working closely with colleagues to achieve operational targets and improve efficiency.

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the curbside collection fleet to ensure all KPIs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with line management to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and that any maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Lead by example and foster a positive work environment by being approachable and having good people skills.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, including toolbox meetings.
  • Conduct performance management investigations and provide outcomes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Approachable and good communication skills.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a waste management or related industry.
  • Knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems and environmental legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Experience in transport, logistics, recycling, or a related field.
