Inspiring Teacher Wanted for International Classroom

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Primary ESL Science Teacher to join our team at the Go Vap campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons and promoting a student-centered environment that supports UTS's 6 Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Courage, Contribution, Lifelong Learning, and Creativity.
Responsibilities:- Planning and Teaching: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. Primary teaching up to 30 periods per week plus 2 fixed ECA/Tutorial periods (35 minutes per period). Access to resources for planning and student engagement with flexibility in approach. Non-contact time primarily for planning and administrative tasks, with occasional coverage for colleagues.
- Parent Engagement and Student Wellbeing: Attend annual parent-teacher meetings; communicate with parents about academic and social matters; regularly update student progress each quarter in the LMS; ensure a safe learning environment.
- Curriculum Revision: Provide feedback on the school curriculum; assist in revising syllabi and materials as needed.
- • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a closely related field.• Candidates with a PGCE, QTS, or a valid teaching license are strongly preferred.• Candidates with entry-level certifications may be considered if actively working toward a PGCE or license.
- • At least two years of relevant teaching experience, ideally in an international or bilingual setting.• Strong classroom management, ability to apply 21st-century learning strategies, differentiated instruction, and interventions for diverse learners.• Proficiency with IT and creating interactive presentations (PPTs).
