Junior Primary Teacher Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate teacher to join our team as a junior primary classroom teacher.

  • This is a full-time (1.0FTE) position for Term 1 2026 onwards.

The successful candidate will need to have the capacity to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Christian formation of students;
  • Deliver Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith;
  • Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and a cross-cultural understanding in our students;
  • Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous;
  • Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills and abilities; and
  • Contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, extra-curricular tasks, and liaising with parents where appropriate.
Requirements
  • A relevant bachelor's degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications (i.e. Master of Education);
  • Possession of a strong passion for impacting students' minds and hearts and providing a safe, supportive learning environment;
  • Highly relational and committed to a holistic view of teaching and student welfare;
  • Keen to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching and learning programs;
  • A servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
