We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineering Discipline Lead to join our NSW/ACT Transport Planning team at Arup. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the Traffic Engineering pillar and driving business development initiatives in the NSW market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Traffic Engineering pillar, promoting learning opportunities and monitoring project progress and interdependencies.
- Offer expert technical guidance and foster knowledge sharing among teams.
- Monitor resource allocation optimization and task prioritization, ensuring efficient multidisciplinary coordination.
- Oversee and drive all business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and executing comprehensive strategies.
- Proactively gather and address stakeholder feedback and expectations, orchestrating seamless collaboration with public relations and communication teams.
- Spearhead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations, measuring and reporting on stakeholder engagement effectiveness and satisfaction.
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Transport Planning or similar area.
- Relevant transport planning, traffic engineering & infrastructure integration experience within a consulting business environment.
- Proficiency / understanding of software including Auto CAD, SIDRA, Aimsun and VISSIM.
- Relevant experience in multi-modal infrastructure planning, transport impact assessments, active travel and development planning particularly in NSW/ACT.
- Proven ability to grasp business dynamics, making informed decisions to drive growth and success by integrating market insights.
