Strategic Leader Sought for Heart Health Initiative

We are seeking a highly skilled and purpose-driven professional to lead our heart health initiative in the Northern Territory.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve heart health outcomes in the Northern Territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across government, health, and community sectors.
  • Drive advocacy efforts to influence policy change and promote cardiovascular health awareness.
  • Provide cultural guidance and support community-led initiatives to address heart health disparities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in public health, medicine, policy, advocacy, or community services.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence in working with First Nations peoples.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering advocacy strategies and policy submissions.
