Strategic Finance Leader

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in a large, complex, and fast-paced organisation. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide insightful financial analysis, commercial guidance, and strategic support to drive business performance.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders and functional leaders to enable sound decision-making, deliver cost efficiency, and support long-term planning. You will also lead and develop a small team within the finance function, responsible for providing financial insights and partnering with business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert financial analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for designated business areas.
  • Deliver variance analysis and commentary, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with functions including operations, commercial, and HR to influence financial outcomes and efficiency initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.

Proven experience in a Central Function Business Partnering or similar role within a large, complex, or multinational organisation.

Strong analytical, financial modelling, and commercial acumen.

Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data simply to non-financial audiences.
