Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Interim Finance Manager to join our team at the REO Group.

Salary: $72,000 - $80,000 per annum (plus super)

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an all-rounder finance professional to support our business through a period of transition and growth. As the Interim Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day business-as-usual tasks, while also helping establish and improve reporting processes.

The role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to structure and report on budgeting and forecasting plans, as well as working alongside finance leadership to implement processes and systems that ensure strong internal operations.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and present results to senior management.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage costs, and track budget performance.
  • Financial Controls: Implement financial controls, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the finance team, collaborate with other departments, and align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Support financial systems, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Special Projects: Conduct financial analysis for special projects and support strategic planning initiatives.
Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly motivated, curious, and someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. You will need to have:

  • A degree in finance and accounting.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Experience as a finance manager.
