We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence professional to play a key role in modernizing our business intelligence environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Recreate and modernize existing legacy reports in Power BI, ensuring business continuity and accuracy.
- Design and build interactive dashboards and data models integrated with Databricks and Azure-based sources.
- Develop efficient and reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic models.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and SMEs to validate requirements and align outputs with financial business logic.
- Ensure all visuals adhere to best practices in data visualization, governance, and performance optimization.
- Participate in a structured handover process with the outgoing team to capture logic, dependencies, and business rules.
- Document report logic, business definitions, and transformation rules to support maintainability.
- Contribute to the Agile delivery process, working in sprints.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering Power BI solutions in complex, enterprise environments. Experience in financial services or regulated industries is highly desirable. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling (star schema, snowflake, normalization) is essential. Familiarity with source control and CI/CD workflows is also required.
