Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineering Manager to lead our Building Structures Group in Australia.

Salary

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, estimated at around AU$130,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Structural Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Building Structures Group. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from design to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners to drive growth and revenue.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Structural Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Membership: Be a registered Professional Engineer and hold membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., Institution of Engineers Australia).
  • Experience: Have significant experience in structural engineering, project management, and team leadership, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
