The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Belgravia Leisure.

Our B-Active program is an evidence-based initiative that focuses on improving health, quality of life, and fitness for individuals aged 50 and above.

As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective fitness classes that cater to the needs of our participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality fitness programs that meet the needs of our participants
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our members
  • Hold relevant certifications, such as Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills
  • Maintain current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or a relevant body
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including current Senior First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Work collaboratively with our team to promote the B-Active program and attract new participants

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in group fitness instruction or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
