Are you a skilled and safety-conscious driver looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers by safely transporting goods across Melbourne metropolitan areas and occasionally regional locations.

The role involves:

  • Operating a prime mover and trailer sets to deliver general freight in a timely and efficient manner
  • Performing pre-start checks on vehicles and reporting any defects or safety concerns to your supervisor
  • Ensuring loads are properly secured and restrained to prevent damage or accidents
  • Managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating with customers as needed
Requirements
  • Current MC drivers' licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Ability to operate single and b-double trailers
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Positive and can-do attitude
