We are seeking experienced professionals to fill various positions on our Hospital and Health Boards.

About the Role

Our Hospital and Health Boards play a vital leadership role in ensuring that healthcare services are efficient, effective and responsive to community needs. As a Board Chair or member, you will be responsible for governing the delivery of healthcare across 16 regions.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the decision-making process and drive positive change in your local community. You will work closely with other Board members, stakeholders and healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategic plans that meet the needs of Queenslanders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in health management, business management, human resource management, clinical expertise, legal expertise, primary healthcare, health consumer and community engagement
  • Strong commercial acumen and governance expertise
  • Leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to hold the Board and the Health Service Chief Executive accountable for meeting financial, service delivery, and legislative requirements
