About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Courier / Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our library services, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient transportation of materials between branches and Council facilities.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday during business hours. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver materials between libraries and Council facilities in a timely and safe manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service across all Council locations, including face-to-face interactions at the library.
  3. Perform a range of duties as required, including support to Library programming teams and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to perform duties related to courier deliveries, including physical ability to conduct all required tasks.
  • Verbal communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Flexible, innovative, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and willingness to assist with information technology and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Paid Working with Children check.
  • HSC Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
