Therapeutic House Supervisor Role

This position plays a pivotal role in the leadership of a trauma-informed environment, guiding a dedicated team and supporting young people who have experienced significant adversity. It's an opportunity to be a mentor, a role model, and a catalyst for positive change.

The Therapeutic House Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of a therapeutic residential home in the Central Coast region. They will guide and develop Youth Workers, helping them grow into confident and capable professionals. Key responsibilities include managing resources, reporting, and compliance with child protection and safety standards. This also involves advocating for the rights and well-being of children and young people in care, as well as collaborating with Therapeutic Specialists and Case Managers to facilitate young people's care and therapeutic case plans.

To succeed in this role, applicants require a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Welfare (or a relevant Diploma in Community Services plus a graduate certificate in trauma or child protection). Additionally, they must have at least 3 years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people, and at least 2 years of team leadership experience in an Out Of Home Care setting.
