We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef - Fresh Seafood Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team at Fish 'n' Chipper. As an integral part of our culinary team, you will support the Head Chef in maintaining exceptional service and cleanliness standards in the kitchens, while contributing to a cohesive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Executive Chef - Fresh Seafood Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality seafood dishes within the fish and chip kitchen section
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Assisting in daily kitchen operations, including stock management and ordering
  • Supporting and guiding junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Collaborating closely with the Head Chef and team to create a positive and productive work environment
  • Contributing to menu development and special events with creativity and dedication
Requirements
  • Ability to prepare sashimi sushi-style or nigiri-style is essential for this role
  • Unwavering commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality produce
  • Previous experience working in cold larder and fryer sections is highly desirable
  • Experience in fast-paced fish and chip kitchens is preferred
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Ability to commence work immediately
  • Must have reliable transportation due to late finishes

Our estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
