Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. The successful candidate will provide essential assistance to our clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

About the Role:
  • The Support Worker will work in a dynamic environment, providing support to individuals with diverse abilities.
  • Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, managing daily tasks, and promoting autonomy among residents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confident engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, problem-solving, and demonstrating empathy and composure in complex situations.
  • Flexibility, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • Full COVID vaccination status.
  • Experience working with mental health clients is desirable.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
