About This Role

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultancy services in the transport planning market, both locally and across the ANZ region.

The role will involve project delivery and management, as well as positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. You will also be responsible for supporting the management of the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the transport planning portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical lead for transport planning and assessment projects
  • Providing technical guidance for transport planning advice on large strategic consulting and design projects
  • Delivering technically excellent transport outcomes and consultancy services
  • Driving business development and identifying opportunities
  • Maintaining strong key client relationships

Requirements

  • Effective communication and commercial awareness
  • Working knowledge of the local environment and relevant industry
  • Knowledge and application of transport planning concepts and tasks
  • Demonstrated understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering and transport modelling and infrastructure design
  • Project management skills
