Counsellor Advocate Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counsellor Advocate to join our team in providing expert support services to victims of sexual assault.
- This is a part-time position, working 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants, with ongoing opportunities for career development and growth.
- The role involves providing crisis counselling, advocacy and support to victims of sexual assault, as well as secondary consultation to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, contributing to a culture that promotes gender equity, respect and a safe working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or a related field;
- Demonstrated experience in crisis counselling and trauma-informed practice;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- A commitment to intersectional feminist principles and rights-based advocacy.

Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis counselling and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault;
