Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will involve collaborating closely with senior management to deliver comprehensive project cost performance analysis and reporting.

Position Highlights:

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our cost management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying potential financial issues and proposing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Project Finance Analyst in managing financial aspects of various projects.
  • Provide essential cost control support across multiple revenue-generating projects.
  • Prepare and verify monthly project claims to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assess and document all financial variations in monthly claims.
  • Establish new projects within the financial management system.
  • Assist in the integration of project data into the finance ERP system.
  • Generate periodic financial scorecards and performance reports for projects.
  • Monitor actual and forecasted costs to manage financial exposure effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial governance.
  • Collaborate with project management to analyze profitability and identify improvement opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project-focused financial role.
  • Experience in project accounting within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial drivers and cost management.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in the construction or project-based sector is preferred.
