The Role: As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Travelex, representing our brand and promoting our travel money products to customers. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving individual KPIs, and maximizing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales: Maximize sales by promoting Travelex products to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, and achieving individual sales targets.
- Store Operations: Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and report to management. Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, and all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals, provide support and guidance, and contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture.
Requirements:
- Travel Enthusiasm: A passion for travel and a positive can-do attitude.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and written comprehension skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Attention to Detail: Enjoys working with numbers and detail in a structured environment.
- Experience: Retail, cash-handling, and/or banking experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Performance Delivery: A strong record of performance delivery through increased sales and/or performance against KPIs.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and manage relationships across all levels, internally and externally.
