Beca, one of the Asia-Pacific region's largest employee-owned professional services consultancies, is seeking a skilled Defence Project Management Professional to join its growing Defence and National Security team in Canberra.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a project management role, preferably within a Defence or government environment, and be able to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships. They will also contribute to the development of project documentation to meet Defence requirements and work within a project team to deliver multiple and diverse projects.

Relevant or related engineering and/or project management qualifications are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining effective client and stakeholder relationships
  • Contributing to the development of project documentation to meet Defence requirements
  • Working within a project team to enable the delivery of multiple and diverse projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working in a project management role, preferably within a Defence or government environment
  • An ability to be flexible and work effectively within a small team environment
  • A desire to learn and build on their existing project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Relevant or related engineering and/or project management qualification

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
