About Our Employment Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join our leading Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety team.

This role will involve working closely with Partners and lawyers across our national practice, undertaking a range of work that supports and advises blue chip clients on employment law, industrial relations and safety matters.

The team provides employment law advice on industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, industrial action, employment aspects of large-scale transactions, advice on compliance (including in relation to employment, anti-discrimination, safety and payroll issues), workplace investigations, interface with industrial and safety regulators, including investigations and prosecutions, and all types of Fair Work Commission proceedings.

As a Solicitor, you will play a key role on matters, supervising and developing more junior team members, as well as supporting business development opportunities with existing and new clients. You will have extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. Key Requirements:

  • demonstrable experience in one or more of employment law, industrial relations or safety in a private practice, government, or in-house environment;
  • an excellent academic record, strong communication and teamwork skills;

  • a hunger to learn, develop and maintain a market-leading practice.
