Job Title: Middle School Girls Wrestling Coach
Middle School Girls Wrestling Coach Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled professional to administer the MS girls wrestling program under the leadership of the Athletic Director.
The ideal candidate will have significant wrestling experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid certified, NFHS Coaching Education certified, and criminal history clearance. Preferred qualifications include three years or more of head coaching experience and computer/technology skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the MS Wrestling Program; promoting the program; supervising and disciplining players during practices and games; and performing additional duties as assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selecting, managing, educating, and evaluating assistant coaches for the program.
- FOLLOWING AND MAINTAINING KNOWLEDGE OF DISTRICT POLICY(IES) AND PROCEDURES RELEVANT TO THIS POSITION.
- Instructing and demonstrating skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
- Ensuring a certified coach is present at all practices and contests.
- Ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and inventory of athletic equipment and uniforms.
- Traveling and supervising student athletes on the team bus both to and from contests.
- Adhering to all financial policies in regard to collection and disbursement of money, expenses, and receipts.
- Maintaining necessary records and completing required paperwork in a specified time and manner.
- Enforcing discipline policies and emphasizing sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
