Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join our team and support the delivery of major projects. This is a full-time, permanent position that can be based in any of our offices on the east coast of Australia.

The successful candidate will work across all phases of the project lifecycle, providing contractual support to clients and contributing to positive outcomes and alignment with project goals.

This role requires strong contract administration skills, including experience with preparing and maintaining contract documentation, administering contractor, OEM, and consultancy contracts, and assessing and formulating claim responses.

You will also participate in project meetings and workshops, collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders, and help develop contracts and procurement strategies and plans.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contractual support across all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Administer contracts, including contractor, OEM, and consultancy contracts
  • Prepare and maintain contract documentation
  • Assess and formulate claim responses
  • Participate in project meetings and workshops
  • Collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders
  • Help develop contracts and procurement strategies and plans

Requirements
  • Experience as a contract administrator; experience administering contracts on behalf of a client preferred
  • Preferred background in energy, mining, construction, or related sectors
  • Experience with contracts and major supply manufacture equipment contracts is advantageous
  • Ideally (up to) 8 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and organise work effectively
  • Comfortable working across different client systems and adaptable to new ways of working
  • A solutions-focused mindset, open to new approaches
  • Excellent clear communication skills
  • A team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals
