Delicatessen Operations Coordinator

About the Role

  • This is a leadership position where you will oversee the day-to-day functioning of our store's deli department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will report directly to the Service Deli Manager and be accountable for managing and mentoring the team, preparing products, processing orders, generating staff schedules and more.
  • Familiarity with fresh food retail is preferred but not required.
  • You must possess exceptional supervisory abilities, passion and enthusiasm along with a hands-on approach, unwavering commitment to customer service excellence and outstanding communication skills.
  • Additionally, you will be able to liaise effectively with both team members and management, display a flair for product presentation and adhere to work health and safety standards.

Duties and Expectations

  • This role requires someone who can assist in managing the team and overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless department functioning and team success.
  • If selected, you will need to participate in various tasks such as coaching employees, completing production, processing orders, creating rosters + additional responsibilities.
