About This Opportunity

This newly created role in our Supply Chain team seeks a skilled Demand Planning Manager to lead our demand planning function across the business. As part of a dynamic team of 3 direct reports, you will play a critical role in shaping our forecasting process and driving collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Supply teams.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To:

  • Foster a collaborative environment to drive the demand planning function and S&OP Demand Review process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate forecasting and drive business growth.
  • Lead and implement best practice demand management disciplines, principles, and behaviours to optimize inventory, reduce obsolescence, and enhance customer service.
  • Analyse network supply performance data to inform improvement initiatives and maximize production efficiency.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve forecast accuracy and support business decision-making.

Requirements And Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience in a supply chain leadership role, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong matrix management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a proven track record of influencing cross-functionally.
  • A deep understanding of SCM best practices and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Experience working with systems such as SAP ERP and Oracle, preferably.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing operations, finance, and manufacturing processes.
  • A proven track record of driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Discipline in implementing and sustaining process and systems to support set KPIs.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
