We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Professional to join our team in Sydney CBD offices. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT and AV infrastructure to enable effective use of technology.

About the Role

This onsite position is focused on providing support for all IT/AV technology aspects at major events, installation or replacement of new AV equipment as necessary, and ensuring system security and monitoring performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Support for all IT/AV technology aspects at major events
  • Installation or replacement of new AV equipment as necessary
  • Maintain system security and monitor performance
  • Prepare technical documentation outlining installation and commissioning of IT/AV solutions
  • Develop contingency plans for failed equipment
  • Escalate any risks and assist in their resolution
  • Use software and hardware skills to maintain and enhance system configuration
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong experience working as an Audio Visual (AV) Technician
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AV infrastructure systems
  • Expertise with AV technologies such as Crestron Devices, Network amplifier, Mobile AV Cart, Interactive touch displays, USB Bridge, HD Capture Dongle, Microphones, Visual displays, Audio conferencing processor, LCD Laser Projector etc
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT/AV technology usage in corporate/commercial settings
  • Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Excellent communication skills
