About the Role


UNSW Venues & Events are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio-visual services for a wide range of events, including concerts, conferences, and video productions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Operating audio, vision, and lighting equipment for live events
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for clients
  • Coordinating event logistics and technical requirements
  • Working with various audio-visual equipment and software, including TriCaster and BlackMagic video switchers, Allen & Heath audio mixers, Sony 4K HDR cameras, and Hog 4 lighting consoles
  • Supporting the setup and operation of virtual and hybrid events
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements



  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in the audio-visual industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Experience with NDI and Dante technologies is highly desirable
  • Camera operating experience is also highly desirable
