Job Opportunity: In-Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate In-Home Care Support Worker to join our team. As a valued member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing holistic support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and flexibility to adapt to varying client needs. You will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, such as transportation, shopping, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and social and community access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility
  • Transport clients to appointments and outings
  • Shop for groceries and essentials
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Encourage clients to participate in social and community activities

Requirements:

  • A minimum Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Disability
  • Current Driver's licence and access to a comprehensive insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • NSW Working with Children's Check
