The Role

You will be instrumental in partnering with our Queensland Child, Youth and Families teams to assess, understand and respond to business demand for strategic and operational People and Culture support in line with LWB's strategic goals and culture.

You will play a pivotal role as a visible leader across the business to partner, develop a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration.

This is a permanent full time position which offers the flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether that is your home or from one of our South East Queensland based offices.

  • Develop and support the People and Culture strategy
  • Implement, model and support national People and Culture service delivery standards
  • Develop creative solutions to business challenges in line with relevant workforce strategy
  • Facilitate organisational redesign activities from structure, process and culture perspectives including the use of effective change management techniques
  • Provide professional advice and coaching support to business leadership teams on a range of People and Culture related issues
  • Ensure a high level of quality in customer service, and provision of effective and efficient delivery of People and Culture services
Key Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for someone with:

  • Degree level qualification in human resources or a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience and a willingness to enrol in further study
  • Significant experience in generalist human resources position / business partnering / similar role
  • Demonstrated experience navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, partners, unions and external organisations
  • Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material
  • Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability
  • Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
