Job Title: Senior Business Strategist

As a Senior Business Strategist, you will be responsible for driving business performance and growth by leading a high-performing team in identifying opportunities, analysing feasibility, and making strategic recommendations.

About The Role
  • Corporate Strategy Formation: Identify long-term strategic opportunities and work with the Executive Leadership team and Board to prioritise initiatives and create delivery plans.
  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Lead problem and opportunity analysis for senior executives, using a holistic, analytical approach to develop high-impact recommendations.
  • Communication and Influence: Develop strategic recommendations based on high-quality analysis and insightful written materials, and engage with and influence the Board and executive team to support effective decision-making.
  • Horizon Scanning: Develop and share intelligence about macro trends to help the company disrupt and create new markets.
  • People Leadership: Lead a diverse workforce, communicating a clear vision and performance objectives for your team.

  • Strategic and Lateral Thinking: Resolve complex or ambiguous issues by drawing on your own and others' knowledge, while balancing a growth and innovation mindset with risk mitigation.
  • Commercial Acumen: Help shape performance targets and understand the implications of business decisions and actions.
  • Problem-Solving: Use a holistic and analytical approach to solve complex problems and enable high-impact recommendations.

This role requires experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, or at an ASX50 company, preferably in the global consumer, retail, and/or grocery sectors. Experience in these areas will give you a solid foundation to drive business growth and success.
