Job Description

The Treasury Graduate Development Program is a two-year program that provides graduates with hands-on experience in various areas of the department. You will work closely with experienced professionals, develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, and contribute to the development of policies and programs that shape the Australian economy.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including budget analysis, taxation, financial sector regulation, and international economic policy. Our graduates come from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, and we value their unique perspectives and experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian citizenship or the ability to become a citizen by December 2026
  • An Australian-recognised undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher), completed or to be completed within the last 5 years
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt quickly
