Occupational Psychologist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Psychologist. As a key member of our Health & Wellbeing team, you will provide advisory, design and development of strategic initiatives to support the RFS in reducing the risk of psychological and physical harm in our workplace.

You will have the ability to support across a number of mental health strategic initiatives and programs, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver best practice and strategic thinking to ensure a holistic, human centred and evidence informed approach to member wellbeing programs.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our members and contribute to the organisation's ability to identify and mitigate psychosocial risks.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Psychologist who can provide expert advice and guidance to support the development and implementation of strategic programs that improve member wellbeing and positively contribute to organisational health and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory and design services for strategic initiatives and programs to support member wellbeing and organisational health and safety performance
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategic programs to reduce the risk of psychological and physical harm in the workplace
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver best practice and strategic thinking
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures related to member wellbeing and health and safety
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Psychology or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and developing strategic mental health initiatives and programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
