Leading Cashier Services Operations

The role of General Manager, Cashier Services, is to oversee the management of day-to-day cashier operations at The Star Sydney.

This involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks associated with non-compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and embedding policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with cashier operations.
  • Establishing accountability mechanisms within the team.
  • Managing cash management systems, hardware, and software.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' experience in a cashier services leadership role or related role in a casino environment.
  • Proven ethical leadership experience.
  • Intimate understanding of relevant statutory and reporting requirements.
  • Proven change management skills and experience in establishing new procedures.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
