Lead Aircraft Maintenance Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running and management of aircraft maintenance documentation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across various systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a balance between the requirements of the daily running of the aircraft maintenance section and the interface requirements of the operating unit in relation to aircraft acceptance and return.
  • Act as the direct customer interface for both internal and external customers including 37SQN, Airbus Supply Chain Team and the Airbus maintenance organisation maintenance teams.

Requirements:

  • Aircraft maintenance planning experience
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
  • Planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines and timeframes
  • Proactive approach and positively responsive to change
  • Well-developed analytical, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

About The Team: The team supports the Through Life Support Contract through the daily running and management of aircraft maintenance documentation and control of aircraft configuration and servicing data. They act as an interface for both internal and external customers including RAAF members and Airbus maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams.
