Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Data Insights Specialists. As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing and delivering relevant, trusted and objective statistics and data-related insights.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support programs with financial management and procurement activities including resource and budget planning.
  • Track financial progress of projects by conducting monthly reviews of financial expenditure, budget reporting, forecasting analysis including accrual reporting.
  • Create reports, modelling, and trend forecasting including financial reporting.
  • Conduct statistical and financial modelling, including project accounting & cost estimation.
  • Invoice processing, purchase orders and maintaining financial journals.

Essential Criteria:

  • Financial management - Provide general advice and guidance on financial planning, budgeting and accounting.
  • Budgeting and forecasting - Lead financial analysis activities, applying advanced techniques and tools.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models.
  • Financial analysis- Provide advice and guidance on recommended financial analysis practices.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, linking financial performance to business outcomes.
  • Cost management - Develop and implement cost management processes and procedures, monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Accounting.
  • Candidates working towards their CA, CPA or equivalent, with requisite accounting experience would be highly regarded.
