Professional growth opportunities await an Architectural Designer II at a leading firm.

  • Conceptualize and design new construction projects for Commercial and/or mixed-use buildings through all phases, utilizing expertise in tall building fundamentals including structure and MEP systems, vertical transportation systems, curtain wall, building maintenance strategies, egress and fire safety and sustainable design integration.
  • Leverage knowledge of coding and zoning requirements, environmental regulations, urban constraints, and cities' requirements to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive design plans for commercial and mixed-use buildings, collaborating with Design Principals to lead teams of architectural designers.
  2. Prepare construction drawings using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and drafting software such as AutoCAD.
  3. Integrate sustainable green building strategies for LEED certification and collaborate with consultants from ancillary design disciplines to deliver comprehensive building projects.
  4. Coordinate tender issuance drawing sets, façade VMU and PMU drawing sets, and manage submittals in the construction administration phase.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a closely related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Architecture, with expertise in advanced building technologies.
