Procurement Specialist

A prime opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Stores Department.

The successful candidate will support all hospital departments by ensuring adequate stock is available as and when required, responsible for the ordering, receiving and storing of stock in relevant locations/stock levels in accordance with hospital purchasing and inventory control policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for providing usage reports to ensure stock controls enable organisational objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Manage the procurement process.
  • Provide accurate inventory reports.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in supply/purchasing.
  • Proficiency in using SAP or other computerised inventory control systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
