Master Vessel Operator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Vessel Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in navigating and operating dry bulk coastal vessels, with excellent knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations.

A successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be able to effectively manage crew members, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the ship under command, ensuring the safety of cargo and all persons on board.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and environmental damage.
  • Manage vessel activities onboard in a safe, secure, and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • AMSA Master COC/COR Unlimited qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' sea time as a Chief Officer.
  • STCW regulation II/2 certification.
  • MSIC Card.
  • ECDIS and GMDSS certifications.
  • Certificate of Safety Training.
  • Australian citizenship or valid working visa without restrictions.
  • Reside in an Australian state.
