Job Description

This role is focused on developing and maintaining internal software tools for data processing and workflow automation. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and refining these tools to ensure they meet the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and maintain internal software tools for data processing, workflow automation, benchmarking, and testing.">
  • Profile, benchmark, and optimize performance-critical code focusing on high availability, reliability, low latency, and scalability.">
  • Implement and maintain automated workflows and pipelines (e.g., Git, CI/CD, MLOps, DataOps) to uphold performance and quality standards.">
  • Collaborate with field service engineers and drone pilots to collect in-field test data from sensors for analysis.">
  • Manage and enhance data-engineering workflows for processing collected data.">
  • Work closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve bug/issue reports.">
  • Maintain software quality and stability through refactoring, testing, and documentation.">
  • Collaborate with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous team.">

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional Data/Software Engineering environment.">
  • Demonstrated experience in creating automated workflows and AI/ML pipelines.">
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python or Java.">
  • Advanced understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mathematics in software development.">
