Job Title: Data Engineering Leadership

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of data engineering lifecycle from planning to deployment ensuring quality, reusability and alignment with platform goals.
  • Leadership in building scalable data pipelines, models and reusable components using Snowflake and AWS-native tools.
  • Data product development aligned to domain needs and platform strategy.
  • Designing and implementing scalable data models, semantic layers and data marts for insights and customer solutions.
  • Driving solution design best practices and partnering with architects for enterprise pattern alignment.
  • Team management including Data Engineers, Solution Designers, DevOps Engineers and Data Test Engineers.
  • Maintaining development standards, governance and best practices across the team.
  • Fostering adoption of test-driven development, CI/CD and automation.
  • Collaboration with Data Ops for smooth deployment, observability and post-release support.
  • Partnership with Performance Monitoring & Insights and CXM Ops teams for platform capabilities meeting reporting and customer intelligence needs.
  • Improving engineering maturity, velocity and reusability of data products across service lines.
  • Contribution to GenAI and Agentic AI readiness through modern, AI-enabled data foundations.
  • Leading a high-performing engineering team fostering accountability, technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Cross-functional collaboration across Data Ops, Insights, CXM and Governance to support data strategy.
  • SUPPORT OF Agile ways of working and contribution to service-aligned operating model design.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in data engineering leadership and technology.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, architectures and technologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and lean principles.
  • Understanding of cloud computing, big data and AI/ML concepts.
  • Aptitude for designing and implementing scalable data architectures.
  • Experience with data governance, security and compliance.
