Medical Officer Position Available

We are seeking experienced Medical Officers to join our dynamic team at Wyong Hospital. As a Locum Emergency Department Medical Officer, you will provide acute assessment, treatment, and coordination of patient care across a broad spectrum of presentations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver emergency care across a range of presentations, including trauma and high-acuity cases
- Collaborate with specialists, registrars, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Gain experience in a busy coastal hospital with strong protocols and resources
- MBBS or equivalent with current (or eligible) medical registration - minimum Level 2 supervision
- Aus/NZ/Competent Authority Pathway: Minimum 4 postgraduate years, including 12 months in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
- Standard Pathway: Minimum 6 postgraduate years, including 2 years in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
Wyong is located on the Central Coast, offering a mix of coastal beaches, national parks, and a relaxed community feel, while being within easy reach of Sydney and Newcastle.
